If you or your company are looking for an alternative to sending your electrical equipment to the landfill and want to minimize your impact on the environment, Civic Recycling can help.
Whether you are doing some spring cleaning in your shop or have an entire plant full of electrical equipment, we can help when you are ready to part with your excess electrical equipment.
How does the process work?
You can put a list of items you have available into a fax or email and send it to us, we will respond within 48 hours. You may also call or simply drop by our shop anytime during business hours and we can usually make a decision on the spot. For equipment that is still in use or if you have an entire shop full of equipment that you are unable to reasonably put into a list we can come to you and evaluate your electrical equipment at your site. If both parties agree on a price we can either issue a cheque upon receiving the equipment or if you have an active account with Civic Recycling we can apply the purchase amount as a credit to your account to be used anytime towards future purchases.
How much is your used/surplus electrical equipment worth?
We generally pay 5-30% of what we sell the items for. The price we pay is based on a number of factors, our current stock, condition, supply and demand.
